Which one to download? To use the Profiler, download the installer for your OS. If you need to profile local applications running only on 1.4.2-based JDK, download also special modified JVM.

  • Uninstall any previous version of the Profiler before proceeding with installing this release. Launch and complete the downloaded installer, restart the IDE if running.
  • If using remote pack, unpack the downloaded archive on remote machine, nb-profiler-server folder with two subfolders will be created. Run the (calibrate.bat) script located in nb-profiler-server folder to perform initial calibration. Then follow instructions on how to attach Profiler to remotely started application.
  • If using Modified 1.4.2 JVM, install the downloaded nbm package as a regular module into your IDE, it will be automatically registered as new Java platform. Note that this is an experimental JDK without any support. Read the documentation on JVMs supported by the Profiler.
