What's New in NetBeans Profiler 5.5

Welcome to the NetBeans Profiler 5.5 release. This page summarizes new features and all bugfixes since NetBeans Profiler 5.0 release.

New Features

Support for 64-bit Architecture

  Profiling is now supported for applications running on both 32bit and 64bit JVMs.

Support for EJB Modules and Enterprise Applications

  EJB Modules and Enterprise Applications can now be profiled using the Profile Project action.

Support for SJSAS PE 9 / GlassFish

  Sun Java System Application Sever PE 9 and GlassFish server are now fully supported for both Profile Project and Attach Profiler modes.

Support for JBoss

  Now you can use Profile Project action for J2EE-based applications deployed on JBoss server.

Support for Mac OS X Intel

  Profiling applications on Mac OS X is fully supported for both PowerPC and Intel platforms.
